We are looking for dogs that are:
- Healthy and friendly
- 50lbs or over
- Between 1 and 6 years old
- Parasite free
- Current on vaccines (Rabies & Distemper/Parvo)
- Not taking these medications:
- Thyroid, Phenobarbitol, NSAIDS (ex. Rimadyl, Aspirin), Chronic Antibiotics (greater than six weeks a year), Steroid Therapy (greater than six weeks a year), Allergy Injections
- No heart murmur
Blood donation is a simple procedure. It does not require anesthesia or sedation. Donating blood takes less than 30 minutes. If your pet is accepted as a donor, you will receive approximately $235 worth of blood work performed free of charge. A member of Cascade Hospital for Animals will contact you three to four weeks later with the blood results.
