Did you know that as of 2005 66% of Americans are considered overweight or obese?
Did you know that 40% of our pet dog population is considered overweight or obese?
Obesity is the number one disease affecting us, and our pets. Obesity can lead to
other disease conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, joint problems, trouble
breathing, exercise intolerance and an increased risk of cancer. The good news is,
we can do something about it!
The team here at Cascade Hospital for Animals is concerned about your health and
the health of your pet. That is why we founded the annual Healthy Paws, Healthy
Cause Fun Run/Walk. We invite you and your companion canine to join us June 14th
at 8am for a morning dedicated to fun and health!
All proceeds generated from this event will be donated to MacKenzie's Animal Sanctuary and Crash's Landing.
